Martin's Cove

We weren't planning to stop here.  We didn't even know this place existed.  We just happened to be driving through Wyoming and stumbled across it.  So glad we stopped.  What a great historic stop!

The highlight of the entire place was being able to pull handcarts around a little trial.  It was tough work.  The kids (and Nate) got a real feel for how hard it is to pull (and balance!) a handcart especially over rough terrain.

These were mini handcarts for the children.
Love this picture of Clay and Isaac racing.

There they go. . .

This is Martin's Cove.

What a worthwhile stop.  If ever we just happen to be driving through Wyoming again, we'll be sure to stop at Martin's Cove.  What a great place!
