Cousins! Cousins!

These cousins are also best friends - you'd never guess they only see each other once a year.  My kids count the days until they can see their cousins again.  And if you ask them their favorite part of vacation?  They'll all say without any hesitation: Cousins!  Here are a few shots of these cousins together at the ranch - at least when they were around for me to take pictures.  They'd head off into the hills for hours and hours of adventures and come home with all sorts of stories to tell.

Here they are at the rope swing.  These are the pre-scrape, pre-crash, pre-fall, and pre-bonk pictures.  All my kids came back with injuries and a few tears.

The little girls stayed pretty close.  They were so happy to play together.

Eliza and Catie held hands everywhere.

Even on the trampoline.  It was so cute.

Jordie and Brig took off into the hills hunting cows and bugs.  We didn't see them for hours.

The cousins made sand fortresses. And had epic battles out in the sand.  I loved the flags - still standing the next day after all the rain.

There was also plenty of time for dress-ups.  Grandma has the ultimate collection of costumes - these kids had so much fun.

For dinner we roasted hotdogs and marshmallows.
