On our drive to Orlando, we strategically planned our night stay in Pensacola, home of one of the best naval aviation museums in the country. Isaac, especially, was in heaven and acted as our tour guide throughout the museum. I love love love visiting museums with these guys - they are troves of information!
We were among the first to arrive at the museum - landing ourselves the perfect parking spot. :) Nate's "I hate when people double park." comment had us all rolling when we pulled up.
The museum came to life when my kids walked in with loud and intense dogfight reenactments, complete with sound effects and play by plays from radio control.
Of course the girls follow suit. They've learned from the best.
Here is Isaac next to his favorite plane - the Corsair. His heart skips a beat every time he looks at one.
Nate is teaching the girls how to fire an anti-aircraft gun, while the boys demonstrate. These are the moments I completely missed out on as a child growing up with no brothers.

There aren't very many things that can captivate all my children at the same time. Planes are one of them. 5 kids ready for flight!
