Tonight's Headlines

Neighbor announces "whole crapload of birds" on house next door
It's true. About thirty big ugly scavenger birds came to roost on our neighbor's roof tonight attracting the attention of passing cars and pedestrians. The only explanation? Friday the 13th.

Clayton frustrated - unable to locate North Pole Factories on Google Earth.

After eating 5 pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon with a side of sausage at IHOP, Isaac complains about being hungry and announces with a sigh, "Oh well. At least we're going to Waffle House after this!"
We debated earlier between dinner at IHOP or Waffle House. Isaac interpreted it as a decision to eat at both.

Clayton lectures parents about the "inappropriateness" (he used that word) of strapping a child to the roof of the car.
"No. We're NOT going to Waffle House. We're going home now and if you don't stop whining I'm going to strap you to the roof of the car. . ."

Brigham insists it's NOT a gaseball bat. It's a wite saber.
. . . and therefore acceptable for hitting his brothers.

Isaac draws realistic portrait of his mother
seriously. . .

This post is awesome.

My favorite: At least we're going to Waffle House after this!

But it was very close.

Funny- our children have become Jedis as well- except Josh, who joined the dark side and became Darth Vader (and is very proud of it too). James is Yoda, and even at his young age has learned the ways of the force, and can weild a 'wite saber'. He's even learned how to turn his finger into a laser gun.
