This year we are thankful for "the U.S. Marreens", "the learning of space and my little sister", "famlee", "Chitty", "ladybugs", "Hom", "the alamo", and my favorite - "rth". . . among so many other things. . .
including children who are still young enough to enjoy paper Pilgrim hats and homemade Indian necklaces. . . (I'll be so sad when all my kids grow out of this stage) But old enough now to appreciate having real gratitude and recognize so many blessings.
Besides the food, our Thanksgiving also included. . .
two pilgrims ("turkey hunters"), an Indian chief. . .
an Indian princess. . .
and an array of turkeys.
Including a few elusive turkeys.
Brigham's class had a turkey disguise contest. His turkey went as a baseball, of course. Here are few of my other favorites:
And more Indians.(I love the teeth and colorful face on Isaac's - details, details)
Here are a few pictures of Brigham's preschool Thanksgiving Feast. An event that kept me (and Eliza) at the school all day. . . except when we were dashing to the grocery store for more marshmallows.
But it was all worth it for such a fabulous teacher and an even more fabulous little Indian.
Halfway through the feast Brig changed costumes to be like his best friend.

I am in love with the giant thankful poster. Great idea.
Always so many fun things from Smiths! It looks like you have MUCH to be thankful for. I love the wonderful answers the boys have for what they are thankful for. They can really come up with some thoughtful things!
