Clayton produced another winning school project on crocodiles. He knew what he wanted to do from the get-go. And while I was still fumbling through the original project description, he was rattling on about building a robotic crocodile. Which he did using a remote-control car, play dough, cardboard, and Legos. His "moving" crocodile became the hit of all the animal habitat displays at the 3rd Grade Knowledge Fest. Clayton had so much fun with this.
Here's the video. Which could also be titled "Why Everyone Needs a Little Brother". You'll see why - the last 30 seconds of this makes me laugh every time. Here are a few pictures of Clayton talking about his project.
I love this one. Do you see him secretly maneuvering the controls? He surprised lots of people this way - waiting for them to lean in close and then he'd make the crocodile suddenly move.
When the project was over, this croc became the number one favorite toy at home.
Good job Clayton on another fantastic school project!
