This Christmas season was full of our favorite traditions: Christmas fudge, Christmas caroling, Christmas cards and letters, gingerbread houses, Christmas crafts, hats and mittens, Christmas lights, Christmas music. . . We never get tired of it.Here are a few pictures of our Christmas celebrations:
Here is Brigham's Kindergarten gingerbread man. Can you tell who it is? Yep - Brigham Young. With a hat that clips on and off. I can't wait to add it to our collection of past kindergarten gingerbread men - a train conductor, a viking, and a sea captain. (Can you believe this is the fourth year in a row having a kindergartner in the family?)
My mom sent us these funny glasses that turn Christmas lights into pictures - right before your eyes. Eliza is demonstrating how stylish they look.
Here is a picture through the glasses. If you look carefully you can see Santa faces on every light. Nate and I had so much fun wearing these around the house one night looking at every light.
We loved Christmas caroling again this year to all our neighbors and friends. We delivered Christmas fudge and sang "Angels We Have Heard on High". I swear, we sound better every year and it has become one of my all time favorite traditions.
Here is another tradition we started a few years ago. We deliver gifts to someone in secret every day for the 12 days leading up to Christmas. It's usually someone I visit teach and the kids love playing commando - taking turns each night ringing the doorbell and running away. This year was no different, except that it also happened to be the McKays - our best friends. Which made it even more fun for the kids. And me.

Texas never gets really cold. But we're glad for days that are cold enough to wear cute hats and mittens.
