Places to Be in Salt Lake City

Here are pictures from some of our favorite places to visit in Salt Lake City - Temple Square, The Church History Museum, Jenny's house, Autumns house, and This is The Place Park.

Can you tell what's happening in this picture?  Yup, even at Temple Square we have "time outs".
This is at the Church History Museum.  Here are the boys standing next to the death masks of Joseph and Hyrum made by George Q. Cannon, their great-great-great grandfather.
Of course Isaac loved the ship.
And I loved the antique violin and piano.
Upstairs in the children's section, Eliza went crazy with the Spanish skirts and costumes.

I love this video of Eliza and Brigham dancing to the Mexican music.
Ahh, love love love this quilt. . .

Fountains at the new City Creek Center.

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.  Mmmmm. . .
We had fun visiting Jenny's house.  Especially their zip-line in the backyard - something my kids talk about all year.

Brig and Brian examining bugs through a magnifying glass.
Here we are at Autumn's house, Maria and her kids also stopped by.  Just like old times. . .
Here's a group shot of all our kids.
Here we are at This is the Place Park with the cousins.
The boys loved the Mormon Battalion exhibit.

Petting the animals.
Look at this little baby miniature pony.  Too cute.
Pot bellied pigs.
Isaac, the turkey charmer.
These two really hit it off.

This is a favorite spot for the boys.
Especially Isaac who sails ships in his dreams.

Clayton loves panning for gold.  He could have stayed all day.
Riding the miniature train
Visiting the Indian village.
The kids learned how to make beaded jewelry.

Visiting the schoolhouse.

Melanie caught a praying mantis.  She quickly became quite the attraction.
Fun times as always at This Is The Place Park.  We love our heritage.  So much to see in do in Salt Lake City.
