To Grandmother's House We Go

I love visiting our grandmas.  We were lucky to see all three of them on this trip.  We visited Grandma Nina in Provo.
The kids were all so happy to see her.

They love getting out all the toys in the basement.  Clayton discovered his love of slot cars here.

Lydia was in heaven with Grandpa Jack's gigantic bear.

And of course they all came home with new beanie babies - which they treasure.
I took a few pictures around the house.  Can you believe grandma Nina did this needlepoint picture?  Up close, it's even more amazing.  wow.
Here's an old photograph of Grandpa Jack and all his brothers as well as his one sister.
I took a picture of all their names written on a card next to the photograph.  That's a lot of boys.
Here are a few pictures of Grandpa Jack and Grandma Nina together.

We also got to see Grandma Norma at Nate's cousin's missionary farewell.  Olivia is serving in France.  It was fun to be in town for her farewell party.

little dare devil.

And here we are with the whole gang back at Grandma Joycie's house.  Of course she served root beer and popcorn.  Everyone was happy.

Love this painting of my grandmother.

We tried to take a group shot of all the grandkids.  It was a fail.
We tried again.  Fail.
But we sure love going to grandma's house.
We'll be back again soon!
