Oh My! Oh My! Oh Dinosaurs!

We saw a lot of dinosaurs in Utah. It was fun to meet Autumn and Maria and their kids at the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point.  It was doubly nice to get in at a fraction of the cost on Autumn's membership. Thank you!!!  These kids had fun together and even remembered each other from last year - although my kids couldn't quite remember the connection, "These are more cousins, right?"  College roommate's kids is just too complicated for them. And I loved catching up with Maria and Autumn, as always, and reminiscing about old times.
It was so great to see everyone.  We had such a great time.
Eating lunch.  The kids all piled around one table.

Love this picture.  These kids know how to pose!
Lydia and Eliza could have played in the sand and water all day.
Love these girls. . .

The boys especially enjoyed the new "Tinkering" exhibit.

Look at this amazing plank tower.  So much fun.
We also visited the Eccles Dinosaur Park near Mandy's new house in Ogden.  The place is filled with life-size dinosaurs.  Kind of scary, actually.  The kids loved climbing, playing, and exploring.  They also panned for gold for the second time (but not the last) on our trip.

Panning, panning, panning for gold.

I warned Eliza that this slide might be a little hot. . .
Whew - this one was much cooler.
To top it all off, we drove through Vernal (Dinosaur National Monument) and a town called Dinosaur, Colorado on our way back to Texas.  I think we're all dinosaured out.
