I finally figured out the auto-timer setting on my camera and made use of the tripod that Nate gave me for Christmas years ago (years before I even had a camera to go with it, and before I even knew what fun I'd have with a tripod!) and I took our own family photos this year. We're not a very photogenic family to begin with, so I was really proud of myself when these turned out semi-decent.
Here I am trying to arrange everyone while, unbeknownst to anyone, the camera was already taking pictures.
After about a million shots of this same pose, (and lots of bribing) we finally got one with everyone looking.
Afterward, I snapped a few pictures without the tripod. It was such a beautiful day.
Eliza.
Brigham.
Clayton.
Isaac.
Lydia.
Our little runaway.
And Isaac took this one. I'm a lucky girl to have all these people!

Wonderful pictures! I want copies (at least a high pixel copy of the family picture). Can I download and print them off of your blog?
You can download them from the blog. The resolution should be pretty good for something normal-sized. Probably not for something huge though.
